Mountains
Numerous bike and hiking trails start right outside the front door and even the Way of St. James passes directly by the farm chalet. The probably best known slope for motivated and professional racing cyclists is located directly at the house. The popular local mountains Herzogstand and Heimgarten are only about 30 min away by car and also the Zugspitze is then not far away. The first small ski slope is in the neighboring village of Beuerberg. The first ski areas are only about 30 min away by car such as Brauneck with about 35 kilometers of slopes. Even a cross-country ski trail can be found directly in the village. Whether summer or winter, whether hiking or skiing, here every guest gets his money's worth.
Lakes
One of the largest lakes in Germany, Lake Starnberg, is at home with us. Boating, windsurfing and stand-up paddling or simply swimming and relaxing with a breathtaking mountain panorama - this is the perfect place to do it. Numerous other lakes such as the trendy Tegernsee, the picturesque Kochelsee or the surfer's favorite Walchensee are located directly in the surrounding area. The legendary Bavarian raft trips also start directly in Wolfratshausen on the Isar.
