The Bauernchalet in Elbacher Gütel is located in the heart of Bavaria, directly on Lake Starnberg and opposite the picturesque village square and the maypole in the municipality of Eurasburg in the district of Bad Tölz/Wolfratshausen.
From the Bauernchalet, you can enjoy a wonderful view of the castle on the mountain and the village church. There is also a breathtaking mountain panorama stretching as far as the Zugspitze, the highest mountain in Germany.

Numerous cycling and hiking trails start right on the doorstep of the Bauernchalet in Elbacher Gütel - including the world-famous Way of St. James, which runs right past the chalet. For passionate and ambitious cyclists, there are numerous challenging routes that leave nothing to be desired. A first-class golf course is located in Beuerberg, just a short drive away.
The numerous local mountains, Blomberg, Brauneck, Herzogstand and Heimgarten are within easy reach. The Zugspitze can also be reached from here in just 45 minutes. For winter sports enthusiasts, the first small ski slope in the neighboring village of Beuerberg offers a great opportunity, and the other ski areas are only about 30 minutes away, including Brauneck with around 35 kilometers of slopes. There is also a cross-country ski trail right in the village.

Lake Starnberg, one of the largest lakes in Germany, is right on our doorstep. Whether boating, windsurfing, stand-up paddling or simply swimming and relaxing - here you can enjoy breathtaking views of the mountains.
